DIY steps on how to fix communication error on Epson printer

If the printer is on the network, check the printer's TCP / IP address. Then, try printing the configuration page from the printer's control panel to check if it is displaying a duplicate IP message. On the printer's display, go to the control panel, select Troubleshooting. Go to Network Test and Network Diagnostics so that network test can be done successfully. Run Printer Trouble-shooter
Go to the Start menu and open the Control Panel. Search for a PC repair or trouble-shooter in the search box. Open trouble-shooter, go to hardware and sound, select your printer and troubleshoot it. If all is well, follow the next steps.
